Moray Place

The Brief: A commission to modernise the interior of an elegant but unsympathetically converted two storey flat in Edinburgh’s New Town.

The Design: Existing bathrooms and kitchens were extended and new furniture designed and installed but the key to radically improving the space was to reconfigure the internal circulation by removing and replacing the stair.

An engineered solution for the stair provides a light, uncluttered, contemporary space.
